- • You will work closely with Account Coordinators to ensure the efficient and effective management of agent and broker accounts, actively encouraging them to place their clients' business with CRC Benefits.
- • This involves conducting regular follow-up calls and proactive outreach to agents and brokers, both remotely and potentially through on-site visits, to maintain existing accounts and effectively market the company's services.
- • A critical aspect of your role will be ensuring that the team accurately and efficiently processes agent requests for quotations and proposals, providing timely and precise information.
- • You will also be responsible for communicating essential information regarding carrier administrative procedures, product availability, and guiding agents in the selection of appropriate group products.
- • Furthermore, you will assist in the pre-screening of individuals and groups for medical conditions to accurately determine suitable products and risk adjustment factors for premium rates.
- • Supporting agents and brokers in presenting CRC Benefits' products to their clients by attending client and broker meetings, as well as enrollment meetings, will be a key part of your engagement.
- • You will be expected to resolve escalated issues by adeptly managing conflicts, solving complex problems, and providing constructive feedback to company management to drive continuous improvement.
- • Active participation in team meetings is encouraged, where your input will be vital in contributing to the collective success and strategic direction of the team.
- • Staying informed about current trends, regulatory changes, and best practices surrounding benefit plan design and administration is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge.
- • While this is a remote role, occasional vehicular travel may be required for client meetings or industry events.
- • You should be prepared to work extended hours, including potential overtime during the busy 4th quarter, and occasional irregular hours as business needs dictate.
- • Physical requirements include the ability to sit for extended periods, frequent speaking and hearing, and occasional standing, walking, bending, crawling, or kneeling, with the capacity to lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, complemented by a minimum of three years of experience in a related insurance or employee benefits medical sales role.
- • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of group insurance products, ideally gained through direct experience in an insurance marketing or selling capacity, is highly valued.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange, along with strong internet browsing skills, is required.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with all levels of internal and external personnel.
- • The ability to read, comprehend, and interpret moderately complex documents, including sales materials, underwriting guidelines, and company policies, is necessary.
- • You must be adept at developing and maintaining strong working relationships, consistently providing positive and effective customer service.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to assist agents and brokers in identifying and presenting the most suitable solutions to their prospective clients.
- • The judgment to determine when situations require escalation to company management is a critical skill.
