📋 Description
- • Manage the end-to-end RFP process to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality proposal submissions for employee benefits sales.
- • Use quoting platforms and tools to extract rates and benefit information and format data into professional, branded proposals.
- • Collaborate directly with carrier partners to request, secure, and validate underwritten quotes for client proposals.
- • Create and maintain proposal documents that adhere to company branding guidelines and regulatory compliance standards.
- • Work closely with the sales team to interpret client needs and tailor proposal content to align with specific benefit requirements.
- • Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze, compare, and present complex rate data with precision and clarity.
- • Prioritize and manage multiple RFPs and proposal deadlines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under tight timelines.
- • Support sales operations by creating and updating spreadsheets with detailed benefit information and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) documents.
- • Assemble benefit booklets, sales packets, and client-ready documentation for internal and external distribution.
- • Maintain and update Salesforce CRM with accurate client data, sales opportunities, tasks, and communication logs.
- • Respond efficiently to a high-volume queue of sales support requests with consistent attention to detail and timeliness.
- • Prepare presentations, client communications, and sales collateral using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- • Organize and archive sales-related documents, contacts, and templates to ensure seamless access and operational continuity.
- • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats with internal stakeholders and external carrier partners.
- • Ensure all deliverables reflect a high standard of customer service, accountability, and organizational excellence.
- • Adapt to evolving sales processes and tools while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in proposal development, quoting, or sales support role—preferably in insurance, employee benefits, or a related field
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and reporting
- • Demonstrated experience with quoting systems and proposal generation tools
- • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar CRM platforms
- • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
