- • As the Creative Director (or Lead Writer of Interesting Things) at Jerry Technologies Inc., you will be the voice of the brand, transforming how the company communicates with its 5M+ customers by crafting empathetic, engaging, and human-centered messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- • Your day-to-day will involve overhauling existing customer communications—including CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy—shifting from transactional to relationship-driven language, while collaborating with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to build trust and drive long-term engagement.
- • You will join a high-impact, profitable startup that has scaled revenue 70X since 2019 and serves over 5 million users, working in a mission-driven environment focused on simplifying the complex and stressful experience of car ownership.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to build the brand voice from scratch, lead creative initiatives like viral campaigns and product launches, and eventually help build a team to manage organic go-to-market efforts and social media presence, all while growing your expertise in brand building, community engagement, and first-principles marketing.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in creative marketing with a heavy focus on copywriting, including proven success with email and SMS campaigns.
- • Experience working with consumer-facing startups.
- • A strong portfolio showcasing both writing ability and creative craft.
- • Bachelor’s degree.
- • Deep expertise in audience development and product positioning, with a working understanding of social media platforms and community dynamics (e.g., Reddit).
- • Ability to translate complex, technical, or emotionally charged topics (like car insurance or repairs) into accessible, human-centered copy.
