- • Develop and optimize data-driven credit acquisition strategies for the Home Loans portfolio using advanced analytical techniques.
- • Analyze large datasets using SAS to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform credit decisioning and strategy enhancements.
- • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, IT, Finance, Collections, and Risk teams to align credit strategies with business objectives.
- • Support the assessment of new credit products and contribute to continuous improvement of existing acquisition frameworks.
- • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and monitor post-implementation performance of credit models and systems to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- • Produce monthly Management Information (MI) reports with clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- • Enhance the accuracy and reliability of credit risk metrics and reporting outputs across the acquisition lifecycle.
- • Present complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and securing sign-off on strategic changes.
- • Investigate escalated credit-related customer complaints in the Home Loans division and deliver timely, well-reasoned resolutions.
- • Drive end-to-end strategy design and implementation, gaining exposure to the full credit risk lifecycle from data analysis to decision execution.
- • Strengthen highly sought-after analytics and risk management skills through direct involvement in critical credit acquisition initiatives.
- • Build visibility and impact at the AVP level by influencing key credit decisions that shape the growth and stability of the Home Loans portfolio.
- • Collaborate with multiple business units and senior stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights translate into operational and strategic outcomes.
- • Maintain rigorous standards in data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
🎯 Requirements
- • Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk Management, or similar field
- • 3+ years’ experience analysing large datasets using SAS
- • Strong understanding of credit risk principles
- • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
- • Experience in SDLC, UAT, or project delivery (advantageous)
- • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
