📋 Description

• Foxelli Group UAB is seeking a Knitting & Crochet Content Creator to produce high-quality, hands-only tutorial videos that educate and inspire a growing community of craft enthusiasts. This role is central to building engaging, reusable content that supports the company’s mission of creating meaningful products and fostering a tribe of curious, hands-on makers.
• The person in this role will transform provided topics into clear, visually satisfying, process-focused videos that require no on-camera presence or voiceover, enabling scalable content distribution across short-form and long-form platforms.
• Foxelli Group is a decade-old D2C e-commerce company generating over $20M annually, built on a culture of experimentation, bold thinking, and meaningful work. The team values reliability, creativity, and remote collaboration, operating primarily within the Eastern European Time Zone (EET) to ensure seamless coordination.
• In this role, you will deepen your technical craft skills while gaining practical experience in video production, content organization, and remote creative collaboration—building a portfolio of professional-grade tutorial content that can be reused across marketing, education, and community engagement initiatives.
• 🧶 FILMING & TUTORIAL CREATION
• Film knitting and/or crochet tutorials based on topics provided by the content team, focusing on stitch clarity, pattern progression, and technique demonstration.
• Create hands-only, process-focused videos that exclude facial shots or narration, emphasizing visual instruction through close-ups of yarn, needles, and hook movements.
• Capture detailed, well-composed footage of stitch formation, tension control, and pattern repeats to ensure viewers can easily follow along.
• 🎥 CONTENT QUALITY & EXECUTION
• Ensure all videos are well-lit with consistent, shadow-free illumination to highlight texture and detail in yarn work.
• Maintain stable framing using a tripod or fixed setup, keeping the work centered and in sharp focus throughout the tutorial.
• Deliver raw or lightly edited footage with clear labeling and standardized naming conventions (e.g., project_stitchtype_date) for seamless handoff to post-production.
• Organize files by category, skill level, and format (shorts vs. long-form) to enable efficient reuse across Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and website tutorials.
• ✂️ COLLABORATION & CONTENT FLOW
• Follow detailed briefs and filming guidelines provided by the creative team, adhering to style, duration, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with editors and content managers to refine techniques based on feedback, improving clarity and visual appeal over time.
• Occasionally prepare and film content designed for future voiceover narration, leaving space in the frame and timing for audio overlay.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong practical experience in knitting and/or crochet, including the ability to execute a variety of stitches, patterns, and techniques confidently and accurately.
• Ability to film high-quality video using a smartphone or basic camera setup with a tripod, ensuring stable, well-lit, and focused footage.
• Reliable and organized workflow: capable of following instructions precisely, delivering content on schedule, and maintaining consistent file naming and structure.
• Comfortable working remotely and available for at least 5 hours of overlap with Eastern European Time (EET/UTC+2 to UTC+3) for coordination and feedback.
• Good eye for clean, aesthetic visuals—understanding composition, lighting, and framing to make craft content visually satisfying and easy to follow.
• Willingness to learn and adapt: open to feedback, eager to improve video quality, and interested in growing technical and creative skills.
