- • As a Crop Insurance Adjuster for ProAg, you will serve as the first point of contact for policyholders who have experienced agricultural losses, conducting field inspections, assessing damage, and managing claims from start to settlement across Ohio.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing fact-finding to determine cause and percentage of loss, measuring fields and storage bins, reviewing production records, interpreting aerial photos and maps, and communicating claim procedures to farmers, agents, and industry stakeholders.
- • You will work remotely from home while covering a territory in Ohio, requiring up to 75% travel—including climbing grain bins, traversing rough terrain, and visiting farms regularly to ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.
- • Reporting to the Claims Manager, you will apply your judgment and knowledge of Multi-Peril Crop Insurance, Crop Hail, and Named Peril policies, while continuously expanding your expertise in RMA regulations and ProAg procedures to support fair and compliant claim outcomes.

🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Experience in crop insurance claims, compliance, or any agriculture-related background
- • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer and internet applications
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
- • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
- • Completion of Claim Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification or relevant state licenses preferred
