• • Drive exponential growth for Token Metrics Ventures LLC by owning the full BD lifecycle—from lead generation and market mapping to closing high-value partnerships—while working fully remote from Lisbon or anywhere in Europe.
• • Own the creation and execution of a data-driven growth roadmap: set quarterly OKRs, forecast pipeline value, and translate market intelligence into actionable initiatives that directly influence Token Metrics’ AI-powered crypto indices and product roadmap.
• • Build and nurture a global network of crypto exchanges, DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, institutional funds, KOLs, and media outlets; schedule and run 10–15 strategic calls per week, turning cold outreach into warm, revenue-generating relationships.
• • Negotiate and close complex commercial agreements—ranging from API licensing and co-marketing campaigns to joint ventures and M&A opportunities—while protecting Token Metrics’ brand equity and ensuring every deal aligns with long-term tokenomics and user-acquisition goals.
• • Continuously monitor on-chain metrics, TVL shifts, and competitor product launches; synthesize findings into concise battle cards for Sales, Marketing, and Product teams so the company can pivot faster than the market.
• • Collaborate with our AI research squad to identify new data partnerships that enrich our predictive models; translate raw blockchain datasets into revenue streams by packaging insights for hedge funds, family offices, and retail subscribers.
• • Design and execute high-impact branding initiatives—such as sponsoring premier crypto conferences, hosting Twitter Spaces with industry leaders, and launching ambassador programs—that position Token Metrics as the go-to AI analytics platform in 50+ countries.
• • Optimize end-to-end funnel performance by integrating Salesforce, HubSpot, and on-chain analytics dashboards; build automated reporting that surfaces real-time KPIs to the executive team, enabling rapid budget reallocation and campaign optimization.
• • Mentor junior BD associates and cross-functional interns, instilling best practices in prospecting, objection handling, and consultative selling while fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
• • Represent Token Metrics at major European and global crypto events (e.g., Web Summit, ETHLisbon, Token2049), delivering keynote talks, panel insights, and closed-door roundtables that generate qualified pipeline and strengthen thought-leadership positioning.
• • Evaluate potential joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions by building detailed financial models, running scenario analyses, and presenting risk-adjusted recommendations to the board; shepherd deals through legal, compliance, and token-holder governance processes.
• • Champion customer-centricity by gathering feedback from 1,000+ retail power users and 50+ institutional clients, then translating pain points into feature requests that directly influence our AI ranking algorithms and newsletter content.

� Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
• • 3+ years of proven business development experience within crypto, web3, fintech, or AI-driven SaaS; demonstrable track record of closing six-figure (or larger) partnerships.
• • Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM, plus familiarity with on-chain analytics tools (Dune, Nansen, Glassnode) and marketing automation platforms.
• • Deep understanding of crypto market structures, tokenomics, DeFi protocols, NFT ecosystems, and regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions.
• • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills; fluency in English required, Portuguese or additional European languages a plus.
