As a Crypto Funding Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within the Trading Experience team, ensuring our clients have a seamless and positive experience with cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals, as well as trading-related inquiries.
- • This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class team that possesses deep expertise in crypto funding infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee that clients can effortlessly manage their crypto assets on our platform, maximizing their engagement with our extensive crypto and staking offerings.
- • You will be at the forefront of client interaction, addressing a wide range of queries across our various platforms, including the Kraken Pro web and app, consumer app, consumer web, and Kraken Desktop applications. Your support will extend to all aspects of trading, and you will be cross-trained to handle crypto deposit and withdrawal inquiries with the same level of excellence.
- • A key aspect of this role involves providing exceptional customer service to a diverse client base, ranging from seasoned traders to newcomers to the crypto space. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate technical issues and understand complex financial concepts related to their trading activities.
- • Beyond direct client support, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our support operations. This includes providing valuable testing and feedback on new trading features before their public release, helping to refine the user experience and identify potential issues.
- • You will also assist in the operational management of the support team. This may involve quality assurance for other specialists, contributing to the development and enhancement of training materials, and maintaining and updating our knowledge base, such as Confluence articles, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to both clients and internal teams.
- • A significant part of your role will involve providing detailed calculation breakdowns for client inquiries. This includes explaining fees, clarifying margin levels, and offering insights into Profit and Loss (P&L) explanations, demonstrating a strong understanding of trading mechanics and financial reporting.
- • In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be tasked with monitoring crypto funding activity. This proactive measure is crucial for identifying and mitigating potential fraudulent actions, contributing to the overall security and integrity of the Kraken platform.
- • This position requires a proactive and adaptable mindset, as the crypto landscape is constantly evolving. You will need to stay abreast of changes in processes, regulations, and emerging technologies within the cryptocurrency world, ensuring that Kraken remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
- • You will collaborate closely with clients and potentially interact with other internal departments, such as Product, Compliance, Engineering, and other Support teams. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for resolving complex client issues and driving product improvements.
- • As a fully remote employee, you will be part of a global team of Krakenites spread across 70 countries. This diverse environment fosters innovation and provides a unique perspective on the cryptocurrency market. You will leverage your crypto passion and deep understanding of cryptocurrency funding flows to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to Kraken's mission of accelerating global crypto adoption.
- • This role is a fixed-term contract for a duration of 6 months, offering a focused and impactful experience within a dynamic industry. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of service that Kraken is known for, supporting our mission to empower individuals with financial freedom and inclusion through cryptocurrency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the Kraken Pro platform.
- • Understanding of trading concepts, charting, and leveraged trading (Futures Margin or preferably both).
- • Proven experience in a client support role, preferably within the fintech or cryptocurrency industry.
- • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations and explain financial concepts clearly.
- • Ability to adapt quickly to change, learn new products and processes rapidly, and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to support a global client base.
