ďż˝ Description
- • Shape the future of AI-driven crypto investing by owning end-to-end quality assurance for Token Metrics’ flagship web and mobile products used by 50 k+ investors in 50 countries.
- • Design and implement a scalable automation framework (Python, PyTest, Selenium, Appium, REST/GraphQL) that gates every commit, pull-request and release for our React / Node / AWS stack.
- • Partner with product managers, quant researchers and AI engineers to translate complex crypto-economics, portfolio-ranking algorithms and token-price models into testable acceptance criteria and automated regression packs.
- • Lead a distributed QA pod (3–5 engineers) across Bulgaria and Greece; define test strategy, sprint-level test plans, risk matrices and OKRs that cut manual regression time by 60 % while maintaining 95 % automated coverage.
- • Build reusable libraries for wallet-connect flows, on-chain data ingestion, staking APR calculations and real-time candle-stick charts; simulate main-net forks in Ganache/Hardhat to validate DeFi integrations before main-net deploy.
- • Champion shift-left quality: embed contract tests, performance budgets (k6, Lighthouse), security headers and OWASP crypto-top-10 scans inside CI/CD (GitHub Actions → AWS ECS/Amplify) so defects are caught <30 min after push.
- • Own the release sign-off for weekly production drops; triage and root-cause critical defects, coordinate hot-fixes and post-mortems, and publish quality dashboards that the executive team reviews every Monday.
- • Establish SLAs for API uptime (<99.9 %), pricing accuracy (<50 ms stale) and portfolio-backtest precision (<0.1 % drift); alert on deviations via PagerDuty and drive incident resolution with engineering and DevOps.
- • Mentor junior QA engineers on test design, coding best practices and crypto domain knowledge; create onboarding runbooks that reduce ramp-up time from 4 weeks to 10 days.
- • Continuously experiment with emerging Web3 tooling—Foundry fuzzing, Tenderly simulations, Chainlink oracle stubs—to harden smart-contract interactions and cross-chain bridges.
- • Represent Token Metrics in external QA/crypto meet-ups, publish blog posts on testing DeFi protocols, and contribute to open-source projects that advance quality standards in the blockchain space.
ďż˝ Requirements
- • 5+ years QA automation experience including 2+ years on FinTech, crypto or trading platforms; strong grasp of blockchains, wallets, EVM transactions and REST/WS APIs.
- • Expert in Python (PyTest), JavaScript/TypeScript (Jest, Cypress) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS); hands-on with Postman, Charles, SQL and Git flow.
- • Proven track record designing scalable test frameworks from scratch and pushing coverage above 90 % while reducing cycle time; performance and security testing mindset.
- • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or similar certification preferred.
- • Excellent English communication, documentation and cross-time-zone collaboration skills; prior remote-team leadership is a big plus.
️ Benefits
- • Fully remote role within Bulgaria & Greece—work from Athens, Sofia, the mountains or the beach with flexible hours and async culture.
- • Competitive EUR-based salary + quarterly TM token bonus aligned with company growth; all hardware/software provided (M2 MacBook Pro, 4 k monitor, Ledger test wallets).
- • 25 days paid vacation, local public holidays, and a 1-month “work from anywhere” perk each year; private health insurance and annual training budget (conferences, certifications, courses).
- • Front-row seat to the crypto markets—direct access to Token Metrics AI indices, exclusive research reports, and internal investment seminars with the founders.
