- • As an HSA Custodian Operations Analyst 1 at WEX Inc., you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of Health Savings Account (HSA) custodian processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions that directly support consumer financial well-being.
- • Day to day, you will process internal bank transfers and wires, reconcile depository and intermediary bank accounts, facilitate money movements for HSA contributions and distributions, manage contribution exception processing, collect and validate transactional data, generate operational reports, identify and resolve discrepancies, support customer and partner inquiries, and proactively explore AI and automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
- • You will join a detail-oriented team within WEX’s financial services division focused on maintaining the integrity and efficiency of HSA custodial operations, collaborating with internal teams and external partners including financial institutions and sub-custodians.
- • In this role, you will develop strong analytical and operational expertise in financial services, gain hands-on experience with HSA-specific processes and banking systems, enhance your data analysis and reporting capabilities, and build foundational knowledge for career growth in financial operations, treasury, or compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred but not required
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an exceptional commitment to accuracy and detail
- • High proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
- • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) for collaborating with internal teams and external partners
- • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- • Must successfully pass a background investigation
