Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of custom reporting projects for ZOLL’s hospital, EMS, Fire, and billing/AR customers, translating complex clinical and operational data into actionable insights that directly improve patient outcomes and revenue capture.
- • Partner with customers via web conference and occasional on-site visits to elicit detailed requirements, map data sources, and define success metrics for each custom report, ensuring every deliverable aligns with real-world clinical workflows and compliance standards.
- • Design, build, and validate high-impact reports using Crystal Reports, Birst, and Izenda BI; author optimized MS SQL queries, views, and stored procedures that extract data from multi-tenant SaaS platforms while maintaining sub-second performance for thousands of concurrent users.
- • Produce clear scopes of work that break down data lineage, cost, timeline, and risk assumptions; present these documents to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, securing sign-off before development begins.
- • Champion data quality by implementing automated validation scripts, peer-review checklists, and regression tests that catch anomalies before reports reach production—protecting the integrity of decisions made by clinicians and financial leaders.
- • Continuously refine report style, formatting, and user experience based on customer feedback and UX best practices, elevating ZOLL’s brand perception as a data-driven innovation leader in acute-care technology.
- • Juggle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; utilize Agile sprint planning and transparent status dashboards to keep cross-functional teams aligned and customers informed.
- • Serve as the subject-matter expert who explains complex rules, calculations, and data interfaces to customers and internal teams, translating technical jargon into business value and building trust at every touchpoint.
- • Plan and deliver virtual and on-site training classes that empower end-users to self-serve standard and custom reports; manage training calendars, materials, and certification paths while forecasting associated revenue.
- • Contribute to the product roadmap by surfacing recurring reporting gaps and enhancement ideas, collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to prioritize features that reduce future custom work and scale customer success.
- • Maintain meticulous documentation—data dictionaries, ERDs, release notes, and user guides—ensuring knowledge is preserved and transferable across the global ZOLL organization.
- • Monitor industry trends in healthcare analytics, BI tooling, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, CMS quality measures), proactively recommending upgrades or process changes that keep ZOLL ahead of the curve.
- • Mentor junior analysts and share SQL optimization techniques, report-design patterns, and customer-communication best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
🎯 Requirements
