- • As a Customer Care Representative at M-KOPA, you will be the frontline voice supporting millions of Nigerian customers navigating life-changing financial products, directly contributing to financial inclusion by resolving inquiries with empathy and precision.
- • Day to day, you will receive, manage, and resolve customer inquiries via phone, owning each interaction from first contact through resolution or escalation, while maintaining accurate records in company systems and educating customers on products and processes to empower their usage.
- • You will join a mission-driven pan-African fintech team of over 2,300 employees across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa, working in a hybrid model from Lagos offices while collaborating with global teams across the UK, Europe, and Africa.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in customer service excellence, financial product knowledge, and conflict resolution, with opportunities to grow through M-KOPA’s development programs, coaching, and on-the-job training as the company scales its impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing or call-handling environment with a proven track record of resolving difficult customer issues calmly and effectively.
- • Proven competency with Microsoft Office and comfort navigating digital systems to ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions.
- • A customer-first mindset that persists through complexity, with the ability to exhaust all resolution options before escalating when necessary.
