- • As a Customer Delivery Engineer at Tiger Data, you will own the hardest part of customer adoption by building real systems, fixing real problems, and translating reference architectures into production deployments during customers’ make-or-break moments such as migrations, performance tuning, schema design, and production rollout.
- • You will work directly with strategic customers to implement migrations, data optimizations, and schema designs; tune slow queries and configurations; write tactical fixes and scripts; use AI copilots to generate query rewrites and test optimizations; and bridge architecture and reality by adapting TigerData features like Hypertables, Hypercore, continuous aggregates, and vector search to real workloads.
- • You will serve as the customer’s technical champion, owning technical success during project delivery and escalating to core Engineering only when there’s a product-level gap, while capturing and sharing knowledge through playbooks, scripts, and internal guides that feed back to Product and Engineering.
- • You will join a globally distributed, remote-first team committed to direct communication, accountability, and collaborative excellence, working on the fastest PostgreSQL platform designed for transactional, analytical, and agentic workloads, trusted by thousands of organizations globally to power critical infrastructure at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Deep hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, especially SQL tuning, performance optimization, and schema design
- • Experience delivering complex migrations, data transformations, or optimizations in production environments
- • Fluency in SQL and Python (or similar scripting languages for data work)
- • Comfort leading technical conversations with customers, especially under pressure
- • Experience using AI tools (copilots, LLMs) to speed up query rewriting, code generation, or problem diagnosis
- • Bonus: experience in Implementation Engineering, Integration Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, or Technical Consulting
