📋 Description

• • As a Customer Reliability Engineer specializing in Apache Airflow at Astronomer, you will serve as a technical expert supporting enterprise customers in maximizing the reliability and performance of their data pipelines on the Astro platform.
• • Day to day, you will diagnose and resolve complex Airflow issues, optimize configurations, contribute to open-source Airflow development, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate directly with customer data engineering and DevOps teams to ensure mission-critical workflows run smoothly.
• • You will join Astronomer’s Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) team, a specialized support unit within a distributed, remote-first company that powers data operations for over 800 global enterprises using the industry-leading Astro platform built on Apache Airflow.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native data engineering, gain exposure to product and open-source collaboration, and develop advanced troubleshooting skills while contributing to the evolution of Apache Airflow and shaping customer success at scale.
