📋 Description

  • • Serve as the frontline representative for AnyVan customers, resolving inquiries through phone, WhatsApp, and other digital channels with speed and empathy
  • • Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring first-time resolution of issues and minimizing waiting times, directly contributing to the company’s 5-star Trustpilot rating
  • • Actively listen to customer concerns, ask clarifying questions, and accurately assess needs to deliver tailored solutions that reinforce positive customer relationships
  • • Escalate complex or high-risk customer issues promptly to relevant teams while maintaining clear, continuous communication until full resolution
  • • Accurately log and update all customer interactions and data in company systems to ensure complete, reliable records and support operational efficiency
  • • Adhere strictly to company processes and protocols while adapting quickly to dynamic customer demands and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • • Meet and exceed team performance targets related to response times, resolution rates, and customer retention metrics
  • • Work within structured shift patterns aligned with UK operating hours, including weekends and evenings, across two seasonal schedules: April–September (9:00 AM–10:00 PM weekdays, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM weekends) and October–March (10:00 AM–11:00 PM weekdays, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM weekends)
  • • Collaborate with a high-performing, supportive team culture that values energy, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • • Utilize G-Suite and other digital tools to manage customer communications, track cases, and maintain data integrity across platforms
  • • Contribute to a carbon-conscious business by supporting a logistics model that reduces wasted miles and saves 8,520 tonnes of CO2 annually

  • • Participate in ongoing training programs designed to enhance service delivery, technical proficiency, and career development
  • • Maintain strong written and verbal English language skills to communicate clearly and professionally across all customer touchpoints
  • • Demonstrate a bias for action, consistently delivering results under pressure with a high tempo and attention to detail
  • • Commute to and work from AnyVan’s Cape Town CBD office as required, adhering to scheduled shifts and operational expectations

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of customer service experience in a call centre environment
  • • Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute with high accuracy
  • • Proficiency with IT packages, especially G-Suite
  • • Ability to commute to the Cape Town CBD office and work assigned shift patterns aligned with UK time zones
  • • Strong written and verbal English language skills
  • • Proven ability to meet performance targets and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting
