- • The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for customers interacting with GRAIL via phone, email, and chat, playing a vital role in supporting the company’s mission to detect cancer early and improve patient outcomes.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving and responding to inbound customer communications in a virtual contact center environment, providing accurate information, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a compassionate, professional experience aligned with the importance of service in cancer care.
- • The role is based in GRAIL’s Durham, North Carolina office and operates within a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and physicians dedicated to advancing early cancer detection through next-generation sequencing, clinical studies, and data science.
- • The CSC will develop strong communication and problem-solving skills, gain experience in healthcare customer service, and contribute meaningfully to patient and stakeholder experiences while growing professionally in a mission-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant certification preferred
- • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center, healthcare, or technical support environment
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically
- • Proficiency with phone systems, email, chat platforms, and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure under pressure
- • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion, particularly in a healthcare context
