In this dynamic position, you will be the crucial bridge between our innovative technology and our customers' security needs, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert. Your primary mission will be to empower our clients to embrace the full potential of our digital engineering ecosystems while maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity. This involves understanding their unique security landscapes, identifying potential risks, and proactively implementing robust security measures that align with Istari's platform capabilities.
- • You will be instrumental in guiding customers through the secure adoption and integration of our model-sharing platform. This includes conducting thorough security assessments of client environments, providing tailored recommendations for hardening their systems, and assisting with the implementation of best practices for data protection and access control. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate the complexities of securing their digital engineering workflows, from initial setup to ongoing operations.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves proactive threat detection and response. You will monitor client environments for security vulnerabilities and potential breaches, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies. When incidents arise, you will lead the charge in containment, eradication, and recovery efforts, working collaboratively with both the client and Istari's internal technical teams to minimize impact and restore normal operations swiftly. Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be paramount during these critical times.
- • Beyond reactive incident management, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of Istari's security posture and that of our clients. This includes staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to the digital engineering and industrial metaverse space. You will translate this knowledge into actionable insights, developing and refining security policies, procedures, and training materials for both internal use and client education.
- • You will also be involved in pre-sales and post-sales technical consultations, assisting the sales team by articulating the security benefits of Istari's platform and addressing potential client concerns. Post-sale, you will ensure a smooth and secure onboarding process, providing in-depth security training and support to client teams. Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping the future development of our products, ensuring that security remains a core tenet of our innovation.
- • This role demands a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, coupled with a strong customer-centric approach. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, fostering trust and ensuring their long-term success with Istari's solutions. Your ability to anticipate client needs, offer proactive solutions, and demonstrate the tangible security benefits of our platform will be key to driving customer satisfaction and retention.
- • As a distributed team, Istari values collaboration and connection. While most team members work remotely, we emphasize in-person opportunities to build trust. This role may involve occasional travel to client sites or to our engineering headquarters in Cambridge, MA, for focused technical development and team-building events.
