  • • Lead the post-sale customer journey for Portuguese utility accounts, guiding them from onboarding through long-term renewal and expansion of Neara’s digital twin platform.
  • • Partner directly with Portuguese distribution (DSO) and transmission (TSO) operators to embed Neara’s AI and physics-based modeling tools into daily operational workflows for vegetation management, clearance analysis, and CAPEX prioritization.
  • • Serve as the primary strategic advisor and relationship champion for key Portuguese clients, ensuring they achieve maximum value from the platform and view it as a core decision-support tool.
  • • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with executive stakeholders at Portuguese utilities to align platform outcomes with business objectives and demonstrate measurable impact.
  • • Act as the voice of the Portuguese market by collaborating with EU Sales, Deployment, and Product teams to translate local needs into product roadmap priorities.
  • • Monitor customer health scores and proactively identify upsell and expansion opportunities to drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR) across the Portuguese portfolio.
  • • Support the sales team during commercial negotiations by providing technical context and customer success insights to close deals effectively.
  • • Translate complex technical outputs from AI and physics-enabled digital twins into clear, actionable business insights for non-technical executives and operational teams.
  • • Travel 20-40% within Portugal and occasionally across Europe to meet clients, conduct on-site deployments, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure customer feedback directly informs platform enhancements and feature development.
  • • Maintain deep familiarity with the Portuguese energy regulatory landscape, utility operational structures, and infrastructure challenges unique to the region.
  • • Champion Neara’s mission by demonstrating how digital twin technology improves grid resilience, prevents wildfires, and enables climate-adaptive infrastructure investments.
  • • Build and sustain trusted relationships with key decision-makers across technical, operational, and executive levels within Portuguese utilities.
  • • Stay current on evolving energy sector trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in asset management and grid modernization in Portugal.
  • • Document customer success stories, best practices, and use cases to support internal knowledge sharing and external marketing efforts.
  • • Ensure seamless coordination between customer success, deployment, and support teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service experiences.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-10+ years of professional experience in Customer Success, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Account Management
  • • Background in Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy, or Engineering SaaS
  • • Fluent Portuguese speaker with professional fluency in English
  • • Comfortable with data-driven discussions and able to navigate technical conversations with engineers and executives
  • • Comfortable traveling 20-40%
  • • Experience working with Electricity Distribution (DSO) or Transmission (TSO) operators
