This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in system, infrastructure, software, and data evaluations to provide critical consultative services to public sector entities.
- • As a Cyber Risk Services Advisor, you will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive virtual evaluations, meticulously managing inventories, delivering essential training, and performing internal control risk assessments. Your contributions will directly support the Pool’s overall risk management function, ensuring robust security and operational integrity for our clients.
- • This position is designed for individuals who thrive in an energetic culture and are driven by a desire to apply their knowledge and experience in impactful ways. You will be part of a rapidly growing, industry-leading company that values empathy, accountability, collaboration, growth, and inclusion, embodying our core 'caring counts' model.
- • Enjoy significant flexibility with this role, which is open to a remote, telecommuter setting within Ohio. While remote, you will be required to travel within the state approximately 2-3 times per week, with occasional overnight stays necessary to fulfill your responsibilities.
- • Your core responsibilities will encompass performing detailed reviews of general systems, hardware, mobile devices, operating systems, encryption, software, and applications for both simple and complex computer information systems and their peripherals. Based on these assessments, you will recommend security and service plans designed to control the sources of risk, minimize potential losses, and optimize costs.
- • You will serve as a crucial liaison, consulting with and advising underwriting, marketing, agents, and claims departments regarding your system evaluation findings, emerging trends, and recommended actions.
- • This role includes providing valuable on-site individual or group training sessions focused on information technology security. You will be supported by higher-level team members and leadership in delivering this crucial knowledge transfer.
- • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems is paramount. You will stay abreast of the latest developments to ensure our clients receive the most current and effective risk management advice.
- • You will provide essential technical support to Risk Control and Underwriting teams, offering guidance on available resources, relevant legislation and regulations, cutting-edge technology, industry trends, and effective methodologies for risk reduction and enhancement of customer satisfaction.
- • Collaboration is key; you will work closely with team members and management to develop IT-related risk control policies, procedures, resources, and statistical analyses. You will also contribute to the development of articles and newsletters for the Pool, sharing valuable insights and information.
- • Travel within Ohio is a required component of this role, ensuring you can provide on-the-ground support and assessments as needed.
- • Sedgwick is committed to fostering a positive and supportive work environment. We offer opportunities for professional development, helping you perform your best work and advance your career within our organization.
