- • Join Deliveroo’s Global Privacy & Cybersecurity function as a Cybersecurity Counsel, advising on cybersecurity, data security, cyber-enabled fraud, and regulatory matters across all DoorDash brands and international markets.
- • Provide legal support to Global Security teams on security engineering, operations, governance, risk, compliance, physical safety, and cyber-enabled fraud; advise Integrity teams and manage law-enforcement interactions globally.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams across regions and time zones to support product launches, strategic initiatives, transactions, and incident response; coordinate outside counsel and lead crisis management efforts.
- • Work within a collaborative, autonomous, and practical problem-solving team that protects Deliveroo and its stakeholders while driving mission-forward legal solutions in a fast-paced, global environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Qualified lawyer in the UK, an EU jurisdiction, or another common law jurisdiction, eligible to practise law in home jurisdiction
- • 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in a law firm, government authority, or in-house legal team (litigation experience a plus)
- • Experience advising on cybersecurity and data protection matters, including regulator engagement and ideally exposure to fraud, abuse, or integrity-related issues
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex legal and technical issues clearly to non-lawyers
- • Highly organised, able to manage multiple complex matters and urgent issues simultaneously under time pressure
- • Flexible and willing to work outside standard hours during incidents, investigations, or critical matters
