  • • Campus LLC is seeking dedicated and student-centered Cybersecurity Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our dynamic team and support our live, online college courses. As a TA, you will be instrumental in building meaningful relationships with students, guiding them through their academic journey, and ensuring they remain engaged, organized, and on track throughout the 11-week course term.   • • You will be an integral part of the instructional team, working collaboratively and closely with the lead Instructor.   • • A core responsibility involves supporting and grading assignments for a dedicated group of 30-40 students within each 11-week online cybersecurity course. This requires a thorough understanding of the course material and the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback that promotes student learning and development.
  • • Beyond grading, you will serve as a vital mentor and coach. You will guide students as they acquire new technical skills, navigate complex cybersecurity concepts, and develop the professional acumen necessary for success in the field. This mentorship extends to helping students build confidence and resilience.
  • • Attendance at all lectures within the 11-week online course is mandatory. This ensures you are fully immersed in the curriculum and can effectively support students’ understanding of the material presented.
  • • You will lead engaging discussion sections designed to reinforce key concepts covered in lectures and readings. These sessions are crucial for deepening student comprehension, encouraging critical thinking, and fostering peer-to-peer learning.
  • • Hosting weekly office hours is a key component of this role. These sessions provide students with a dedicated time to ask questions, explore challenging topics further, and receive personalized guidance. Office hours are also instrumental in building a strong sense of community within the online learning environment.
  • • Consistent and timely communication with students is paramount. You will be expected to respond to student messages, inquiries, and concerns promptly, ensuring that students feel supported and connected.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a closely related field.
  • • Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or training specifically within the cybersecurity domain.
  • • Currently pursuing a graduate degree or actively working in a technical or business role relevant to cybersecurity.
  • • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • • A genuine passion for student success and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • • Proficiency and comfort with digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing software.
  • • Availability to commit approximately 4-6 hours per week, with some flexibility required for initial training and onboarding.
