  • • **Join Equativ as a Data Analyst in New York City and be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making in the dynamic adtech industry.** At Equativ, being data-driven is not just a slogan; it's our core mission. The Analytics team is instrumental in maximizing efficiency by providing seamless access to high-quality data and delivering strategic insights that empower both internal teams and external partners to make informed business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in this mission, contributing to a team that leverages massive data volumes, processing approximately 250 billion daily auctions, through a state-of-the-art tech stack including Snowflake, Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, and Airflow, to deliver actionable intelligence across the entire Equativ ecosystem.
  • • **As a Data Analyst, you will report to the Americas Analytics Lead and become an integral part of a global team of 10 talented Analytics professionals spread across New York, MontrĂ©al, London, and Paris.** This role offers a unique hybrid work model, with the expectation of being 50% remote and requiring the ability to work from our NYC office. This blend allows for both focused independent work and essential in-person collaboration.
  • • **Monitor Business Health and Drive Revenue through Proactive Insights:** A key responsibility will be to proactively monitor global performance metrics, identify anomalies, and propose corrective actions before they can negatively impact the bottom line. You will conduct in-depth analysis and investigations into performance trends to identify opportunities for maximizing operational efficiency and driving revenue growth. This involves diving deep into the data to understand the 'why' behind performance fluctuations and translating these findings into actionable recommendations.
  • • **Build and Design High-Impact Analytical Resources:** You will be responsible for creating and enhancing critical analytical resources. This includes designing and developing high-impact dashboards, comprehensive reports, robust alerting systems, and intuitive investigation tools. These resources are essential for providing stakeholders with the information they need to understand performance and make strategic decisions. Your work will directly contribute to the clarity and accessibility of data across the organization.
  • • **Act as a Liaison, Educator, and Trainer for US and Canadian Stakeholders:** You will serve as a crucial bridge between the analytics team and our business stakeholders in the US and Canada. Your role will involve educating stakeholders on how to effectively leverage our analytical resources and providing training to enhance their data literacy and autonomy. By empowering our business partners, you will ensure that data insights are widely adopted and utilized to their fullest potential.
  • • **Push the Boundaries of Data and Adtech Innovation:** We encourage you to be a catalyst for innovation, helping Equativ stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving adtech landscape. We are looking for creative solutions, such as exploring the leverage of AI to automate manual reporting processes or identifying smarter, more efficient ways to streamline existing workflows. Your forward-thinking approach will be vital in maintaining our competitive edge.
  • • **Embrace a Role of Collaboration and Strategic Advisory:** This position transcends simply providing data; you will act as a strategic consultant for the North American teams. You will help stakeholders understand the underlying reasons for performance trends, align on their analytical needs, and deeply understand their pain points. This consultative approach ensures that our analytical efforts are directly aligned with business objectives.
  • • **Excel in Relationship Management and Driving Adoption:** You will regularly engage with your internal customers and the broader analytics team to understand current priorities and foster strong working relationships. A significant part of your role will involve developing and executing an internal 'go-to-market strategy' for new metrics and tools. This includes managing testing phases, crafting clear communications, conducting training sessions, and ensuring continuous optimization to drive widespread adoption and maximize the value derived from our data resources.
  • • **Experience the Best of Both Worlds in a Hybrid Data Business Analyst Role:** This is a unique opportunity to blend technical execution with business strategy. You won't just be writing code and handing off reports; you'll be actively involved in business decision-making processes, applying your analytical skills to real-world challenges and contributing directly to strategic outcomes.
  • • **Master a Modern and Powerful Tech Stack:** You will work in an intellectually stimulating environment utilizing industry-leading tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, Airflow, Python, and Google BigQuery. This exposure will significantly enhance your technical expertise and provide valuable experience with cutting-edge data technologies.
  • • **Thrive in a Collaborative, Growth-First Culture:** Equativ prides itself on fostering a collaborative atmosphere that places a high priority on your professional development. You will be supported by a team that encourages experimentation, embraces a 'fail fast' mentality, and is dedicated to helping you level up your skills and career quickly.
  • • **Make a High Impact in a Growing and Profitable Company:** Join a financially stable company with ample opportunities to drive tangible results. You will contribute significantly during an exciting phase of growth, making a visible impact on the company's trajectory and success.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1-2 years of professional experience in an analytical role.
  • • Practical experience with SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and visualization tools like Tableau (or similar reporting tools).
  • • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • • A natural problem-solving aptitude, curiosity, and a desire to develop autonomy and expertise.
  • • A collaborative mindset, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Hybrid work model (50% remote, 50% in-office in NYC).
  • • Opportunity to work with a modern and powerful tech stack (Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, Airflow, Python, Google BigQuery).
  • • Collaborative and growth-focused company culture that prioritizes professional development.
  • • High-impact role in a profitable and growing company within the adtech industry.
  • • Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year.
