- • As a Data Analyst, Growth at Kraken, you will be a critical driver of the company’s mission to accelerate global crypto adoption by transforming complex growth marketing data into clear, actionable insights that directly impact client acquisition, onboarding, retention, and high-impact commercial decisions made by leadership.
- • You will own end-to-end data management for growth initiatives, including designing and maintaining datasets and pipelines, building scalable data models, creating intuitive dashboards, and driving experimentation infrastructure through A/B testing frameworks that translate results into clear growth recommendations for product and marketing teams.
- • You will collaborate closely with analysts, engineers, and growth marketing teams to automate reporting workflows, minimize manual intervention, and ensure data accuracy and timeliness across regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
- • Your work will directly shape growth strategy by translating business requests into precise reports and automated pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow, while delivering data-driven storytelling that influences decision-making at the highest levels.
- • You will join a mission-driven, fully remote team of over 70 countries and 50 languages, where data is treated as a strategic asset and the foundation of trust with users, partners, and stakeholders—empowering you to define success quantitatively every day.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in growth marketing analytics, experimentation, and data engineering within the fast-paced crypto industry, gaining hands-on experience with modern data stack tools and contributing to industry-leading products like Kraken Pro, Desktop, Wallet, and Futures.
- • You will develop strong business acumen by aligning data insights with growth funnels and performance metrics, becoming a trusted partner who bridges technical execution and strategic impact in a high-growth, values-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of data analysis experience with deep knowledge of growth marketing, product KPIs, full funnel performance, and the ability to connect marketing and product insights to drive business growth; fintech or crypto background is a plus
- • Full mastery of SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions, along with strong hands-on Python proficiency for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
- • Experience designing and managing data pipelines with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), plus hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests to translate results into clear growth recommendations
- • Proven ability to create intuitive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Strong communication skills to simplify complex data ideas and align with Kraken’s values as outlined in the Tentaclements document
- • A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor such as analytics, software engineering, or economics
- • Based in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Spain, Cyprus, or Portugal with flexibility to support a globally distributed team
