📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end data pipeline for Globe Life’s business units, transforming raw data from multiple sources into clean, validated, and analysis-ready datasets that fuel strategic decisions across sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
• • Partner directly with stakeholders—ranging from VPs to front-line managers—to translate ambiguous business questions into precise analytical briefs, ensuring every analysis you deliver is tightly aligned with revenue, retention, or cost-saving objectives.
• • Write advanced SQL queries and Python/R scripts to extract, join, and aggregate millions of records from relational databases, cloud data lakes, and third-party APIs, then apply statistical techniques to uncover trends, anomalies, and predictive signals.
• • Design and maintain visually compelling, interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that surface KPIs such as policy lapse rates, agent productivity, customer lifetime value, and claims processing efficiency; refresh these dashboards daily so leaders can act on insights in near real time.
• • Build automated ETL workflows that schedule nightly data refreshes, perform quality checks, and alert stakeholders when thresholds are breached—reducing manual reporting time by 30% and freeing analysts to focus on deeper investigative work.
• • Conduct root-cause analyses on sudden spikes or drops in key metrics; present your findings in concise, story-driven slide decks that translate complex statistical results into clear business recommendations and next-step action items.
• • Continuously audit data accuracy, completeness, and lineage, partnering with data engineering to resolve discrepancies and implement governance standards that ensure compliance with SOX, HIPAA, and internal audit requirements.
• • Drive process-improvement initiatives by mapping current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and quantifying the financial impact of proposed changes—then pilot A/B tests to validate your hypotheses before company-wide rollout.
• • Serve as the go-to data evangelist within your assigned business vertical, hosting monthly “Data Office Hours” to upskill non-technical users on self-service reporting, interpretation best practices, and new dashboard features.
• • Contribute to Globe Life’s culture of continuous learning by documenting your code, sharing reusable SQL snippets in the internal Git repository, and mentoring junior analysts through pair-programming sessions and code reviews.
• • Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating emerging analytics tools, attending virtual conferences, and experimenting with cloud-native solutions like Snowflake or dbt—then champion the adoption of technologies that accelerate insight delivery.
