- • Define conceptual and logical data models for platforms, integrations, and analytics use cases to support reliable operations, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- • Establish standards for data flow, master data handling, metadata, and integration design across enterprise systems.
- • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure data structures align with both operational and analytical business needs.
- • Align application and platform designs with enterprise data governance requirements and compliance standards.
- • Develop patterns for data quality, lineage, access control, and stewardship across critical workflows and systems.
- • Support data architecture decisions related to reporting, AI use cases, and system interoperability to enable scalable solutions.
- • Review data-heavy solution designs to identify risks early and recommend architectural improvements.
- • Document and evolve target-state data architecture principles to guide future development and standardization.
- • Help teams improve design practices for reusability, cross-platform consistency, and data quality across projects.
- • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex data needs into actionable architectural frameworks.
- • Maintain a focus on treating data as a core enterprise asset rather than a project-specific byproduct.
- • Mentor team members and lead by example in fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- • Manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining deep involvement in hands-on architectural tasks.
- • Communicate complex data architecture concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Raise critical issues to senior leadership when necessary to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
- • Contribute to the growth of a high-performing, entrepreneurial team within a flat organizational structure.
- • Deliver exceptional client service by applying data architecture expertise to solve real-world challenges for private equity portfolio companies.
- • Maintain awareness of the relationship between private equity sponsors and their portfolio CFOs to tailor solutions effectively.
- • Embrace entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Actively participate in a hybrid work model with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data design experience
- • Strong knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, APIs, and data governance concepts
- • Experience supporting both operational systems and reporting/analytics use cases
- • Bachelor's degree required
- • Ability to work across technical and business stakeholders with analytical, pragmatic, and collaborative approach
- • Commitment to treating data as an enterprise asset rather than a project byproduct

- • Annual salary range of $170,000 to $225,000
