- • As a Data Center Build Engineer at TensorWave, you will lead and manage the deployment and integration of infrastructure during new data center builds, expansions, and fit-outs, translating design plans into physical implementations to ensure on-time, high-quality, and standards-compliant delivery.
- • Day to day, you will oversee construction and infrastructure deployment activities, coordinate installation of power, cooling, cabling, racks, containment, and related systems, interpret design drawings, monitor contractor work for compliance, support FAT/SAT and commissioning, track progress, document changes, and collaborate with design engineers to resolve field changes.
- • You will work closely with construction teams, design engineers, vendors, and operations staff across all build phases—from site mobilization to commissioning—ensuring adherence to design intent, technical requirements, and safety standards while traveling 50-75% of the time.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
- • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical environments, preferably in data center construction or build-out projects.
- • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structured cabling systems.
- • Familiarity with data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE) and commissioning practices.
- • Proficiency in construction documentation, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and design software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit is a plus).
- • Excellent organizational, communication, and on-site problem-solving skills.
