- • Deploy and support NVIDIA products in data center environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness.
- • Guide and supervise third-party contractors during field or remote deployment activities, maintaining alignment with NVIDIA standards.
- • Perform accurate cable installations, including precise identification of cable types, connection counts, port assignments, and timing of activities using standardized methodologies.
- • Print and apply labels to cables following a Point-to-Point (P2P) labeling scheme to ensure traceability and network integrity.
- • Conduct comprehensive quality testing of all cabling components to verify performance, connectivity, and compliance with specifications.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cabling components, including faults, misconfigurations, and physical damage.
- • Validate and update all work instructions related to cabling activities to reflect current best practices and project requirements.
- • Provide input on updates to Data Center Standards, participating actively in project calls and balancing multiple concurrent priorities.
- • Ensure all physical assets are accurately recorded in Asset Manager, including correct population of all inventory-related fields.
- • Inspect all incoming hardware shipments for damage, completeness, and compliance with order specifications; perform receiving duties.
- • Document deployment processes, maintain detailed event logs, and ensure audit-ready records for all installation activities.
- • Install and configure various network systems at customer sites, ensuring alignment with technical and operational requirements.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to support the deployment of cutting-edge AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
- • Maintain strict adherence to safety, compliance, and documentation protocols throughout all deployment phases.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-3 years of experience as a data center technician, field service engineer, or similar role
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- • In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment
- • Experience with liquid-cooled systems
- • Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment
- • Willingness to travel (~30-35%)
