- • The Data Center Infrastructure Architect will design and implement enterprise-grade server and network infrastructure across Vultr’s global data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of the physical layer of networks, servers, and data center systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting network, server, and GPU infrastructure; creating hardware BOMs and technical documentation; overseeing installation and implementation with facilities and vendors; validating installations against design specs; troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues; managing physical infrastructure aspects of projects; and training technical teams on infrastructure documentation.
- • The role is part of Vultr’s Infrastructure Operations team within The Constant Company, LLC, supporting Vultr’s mission to deliver high-performance cloud infrastructure globally, with 32 data center locations serving hundreds of thousands of customers across 185 countries.
- • The architect will gain experience leading large-scale data center projects from conception to completion, mentoring junior engineers, and aligning infrastructure design with business, scalability, redundancy, and security requirements while developing expertise in hyperscale and enterprise-class data center operations.
