- • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of global data center site selection activities, from initial market screening and due diligence through lease execution and handoff to deployment teams.
- • Maintain centralized program trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor global deal status, milestones, risks, and critical dependencies across concurrent expansion projects.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between Site Selection, Network Engineering, Capacity Planning, Finance, Legal, and external data center operators/partners to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment.
- • Ensure CRM and internal infrastructure databases reflect accurate, real-time pipeline data and accurate site progression metrics.
- • Proactively identify operational bottlenecks, manage interdependent tasks across multiple site opportunities, and escalate blockers to maintain project timelines and minimize execution risk.
- • Support the preparation of executive briefs, financial summaries, and site approval packages for leadership review and decision-making.
- • Standardize workflows, documentation, and reporting mechanisms across international regions to drive consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- • Partner with Site Selection Managers to ensure comprehensive site readiness and a clean, documented handoff into data center build and delivery phases.
- • Travel domestically and internationally up to 70% to evaluate potential data center locations and support critical project milestones.
- • Utilize CRM and project tracking tools (Salesforce preferred) to maintain data integrity and enable transparent, data-driven decision-making across global teams.
- • Apply structured, analytical methodologies to track project variables, compliance metrics, and contractual dependencies in high-velocity, cloud-scale environments.
- • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a rapidly growing global infrastructure organization with 33 data center locations across 185 countries.
- • Contribute to process optimization initiatives aimed at reducing cycle times, improving cross-team accountability, and enhancing visibility into the global site selection pipeline.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of program or project management experience in data center infrastructure, global site selection, commercial real estate, or large-scale telecommunications.
- • Proven ability to manage multiple complex, concurrent projects under tight deadlines with exceptional organizational and execution-focused skills.
- • Demonstrated experience building consensus and driving accountability across technical engineering teams and business executives.
- • Proficiency with CRM and pipeline management tools (Salesforce preferred) and advanced project tracking software.
- • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally.
- • Structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills for tracking project variables, documentation, and compliance metrics.
