• • As a Data Consultant at Ensono, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, playing a pivotal role in designing, building, and implementing cutting-edge big data solutions for our diverse clientele.
• • This is a hands-on technical position where you will be instrumental in helping clients leverage the power of cloud technology to achieve significant business benefits and drive innovation.
• • Your primary focus will be on constructing robust data lakes and developing massive-scale data ingestion pipelines, encompassing batch processing, micro-batching, stream processing, and lambda architectures.
• • You will architect and deliver data solutions that are characterized by high utilization, elastic scalability, and efficient data distribution, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness for our clients.

• • A key aspect of this role involves presenting complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• • You will contribute to the entire data lifecycle, from data sourcing and transformation to storage and consumption, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
• • The role demands a deep understanding of various data storage technologies, including Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), cloud-native storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, Google Cloud Storage), Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), and NoSQL databases.
• • You will be involved in optimizing data storage and retrieval through an understanding of compression and encoding techniques, common Big Data file formats like Parquet and Avro, and storage requirements such as columnar storage, indexing, partitioning, replication, and sharding.
• • You will apply advanced development skills in at least one core programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java, to build efficient and maintainable data pipelines and applications.
• • Experience with distributed query and data processing platforms is essential, including working with Apache Spark, PySpark, and cloud-specific data warehousing solutions like Google BigQuery.
• • You will champion and adhere to engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Don't Repeat Yourself (DRY), Separation of Concerns, and Clean Code principles, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• • Your ability to practice TDD/BDD testing will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and robustness of the data solutions you build.
• • You will engage with stakeholders at various levels, presenting findings, collaborating on solutions, and ensuring that the data initiatives align with overarching business objectives.
