📋 Description

• As a Historical Data Conversion Project Manager at Addepar, you will serve as the critical bridge between technical Data Solution Consultants and client business stakeholders, translating complex data migration work into clear business narratives while ensuring client requirements are accurately conveyed to internal teams. This role is pivotal in maintaining alignment between technical execution and client expectations, directly impacting the success of high-stakes financial data conversion projects that support Addepar’s mission to empower investment professionals with actionable intelligence across nearly $9 trillion in assets globally.
• You will partner closely with Data Solution Consultants to manage administrative workflows, ensuring they can focus on technical execution while you handle client communication, status reporting, and requirement gathering. Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading regular client status calls to convey project health, translating technical progress and data challenges into digestible business updates, facilitating bidirectional information flow between technical and non-technical teams, overseeing a portfolio of simultaneous projects through effective prioritization and context-switching, and driving process improvements to enhance collaboration between Project Management and Data Solutions functions.
• You will be among the first members of Addepar’s Data Solutions team based in Pune, India, helping establish and shape the company’s local presence while collaborating with global colleagues across the U.S., U.K., and other offices. This offers a unique opportunity to influence the operating model in the region, strengthen global delivery capabilities, and contribute to building a scalable, high-performing team that upholds Addepar’s values of ownership, collaboration, client championing, innovation, and continuous learning.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in financial data structures, investment data modeling, and enterprise-scale data conversion processes while honing your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. You will gain experience managing cross-functional, global projects in a fast-paced environment, positioning yourself for growth into senior project leadership, client-facing consulting, or data solutions strategy roles within Addepar’s expanding global operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management, finance, or consulting with a proven track record of managing client relationships and communicating complex project updates.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes and navigate difficult conversations around timelines, scope, or data discrepancies.
• Strong understanding of financial products and securities modeling (conceptual knowledge required; technical implementation skills not mandatory).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders in ambiguous environments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded with a continuous drive to improve efficiency and scale workflows.
• Familiarity with Python or SQL is a bonus, enabling better understanding of automated workflows and more effective communication with technical teams.
