• • Are you a seasoned Data Developer with a passion for architecting and building robust data solutions? Summit Racing Equipment, a leader in the high-performance automotive industry, is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as a Data Developer. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home, provided you reside in Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, or Texas. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our business-critical systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• • As a Data Developer at Summit Racing, you will be at the forefront of data innovation, working with a diverse range of database technologies including SQL Server, Oracle, Elasticsearch, and Redis. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting and developing sophisticated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using powerful toolsets such as SSIS, .Net, and Python. You will not only build these solutions but also provide expert guidance and support to other developers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring best practices are followed across our OLTP (Online Transaction Processing), OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), and ETL processes and databases.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves the proactive monitoring and maintenance of our business-critical systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and peak performance of our databases, which includes meticulous performance tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and the database engine itself. This also extends to optimizing indexing strategies, implementing robust data error checking mechanisms, and establishing effective error handling protocols to minimize downtime and data integrity issues.
• • You will play a key role in shaping the future of our data architecture by making informed recommendations to enhance database and application design standards. Your insights will directly contribute to improvements in performance, reliability, and the overall ease of administration, ensuring our systems can scale with our growing business needs.
