• • As a Data Developer at SpryPoint, you will play a critical role in our mission to transform an essential industry. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data reporting solutions, utilizing powerful tools such as Metabase. This position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams, ensuring the utmost accuracy, integrity, and availability of data. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to provide insightful analytics and drive data-informed decision-making, ultimately optimizing our clients' operations and enhancing their service delivery.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the full data development lifecycle. This includes gathering and analyzing data requirements from stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications, and designing efficient data models. You will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse or reporting databases. Developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data flow will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will be tasked with creating and optimizing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Metabase, enabling users to easily access and interpret critical business information.

You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to understand data structures, identify data quality issues, and implement solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting data discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures. You will also contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and security standards are met.
