- • As a Data Engineer at Health-E Commerce, you will drive the evolution of the modern data platform by designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning across the organization.
- • Day to day, you will build and scale data engineering stacks including ETL/ELT pipelines, ingest and integrate new data sources, partner with analytics and business teams to define requirements for internal data marts, collaborate with data science on MLOps and model deployment, enforce data quality and governance standards, and drive innovation in data architecture and tooling.
- • You will join a centralized Data & Analytics team reporting directly to the Lead of Data Engineering, collaborating closely with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product to ensure scalable, reliable data systems aligned with business goals.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (especially Azure), orchestration tools like Airflow or Azure Data Factory, BI platforms such as PowerBI, and MLOps practices, while developing expertise in data governance, pipeline optimization, and cross-functional stakeholder management in a high-impact, remote-first environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- • Minimum 1-4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, software engineering, or analytics
- • Strong SQL and Python proficiency
- • Experience working in cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric), with Azure data stack highly preferred
- • Experience with analytics and BI platforms (PowerBI or similar)
- • Proficiency with Git or other collaborative development workflows in an agile environment

- • Compensation: $105,000 - $140,000
