- • As a Data Engineer 2 at Meredith Corporation, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining data integration pipelines that feed into data lakes and warehouses, ensuring data quality and integrity for business-critical analytics and reporting.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and optimizing data pipelines using Python and SQL, collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements, implementing data transformations, and ensuring timely delivery of data assets via Looker for internal analytics use.
- • You will join the Data Operations team at Dotdash Meredith, a leading digital and print media company, where you’ll work alongside analytics engineers and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), big data technologies, and data pipelining best practices while gaining exposure to how data powers business insights across media, advertising, and content divisions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming concepts
- • Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, window functions, and nested subqueries
- • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS or GCP preferred)
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements
- • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and advocating for coding best practices
- • Eagerness to learn and apply new big data technologies and pipeline optimization techniques
