- • As a Data Engineer at Clo Virtual Fashion Inc., you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across global offices by collecting, cleaning, and delivering reliable analytical data from product development and operations of CLO, Marvelous Designer, CLO-SET, and CLO-SET CONNECT.
- • You will design and maintain scalable, high-quality data pipelines using modern data stack technologies, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for both batch processing and real-time streaming use cases across engineering, product, and business teams.
- • Your work will directly support the company’s mission to build an efficient and sustainable digital fashion ecosystem by enabling seamless data flow between physical and digital garment workflows within the CLO system.
- • You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and data analysts to understand data needs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and optimize data infrastructure for performance and scalability.
- • You will implement data validation, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to ensure data quality and system reliability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks in data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
- • You will contribute to the evolution of the company’s data architecture by evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies that enhance data governance, lineage, and self-service capabilities for global stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration platforms
- • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or columnar (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) data warehouses
- • Strong programming skills in Python for data transformation, scripting, and automation tasks
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with data lake/storage solutions like S3, GCS, or ADLS
- • Understanding of data modeling principles and experience implementing star/snowflake schemas for analytical workloads
