- • As a Data Engineer at Verse Medical, you will design and scale the data architecture that powers critical product and operational systems, enabling hospital-quality care everywhere by connecting providers, payors, and patients through modern software infrastructure.
- • Day to day, you will design, build, and manage robust data pipelines; develop clean data models; improve data architecture and storage solutions; ensure data accuracy and compliance; collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; own production data products from concept to execution; and operate with initiative in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- • Verse Medical is a well-funded Series C healthcare technology company backed by General Catalyst, SignalFire, and Sapphire Ventures, building modern software infrastructure to replace outdated fax-and-phone-tag systems with reliable, patient-centered care coordination.
- • In this role, you will achieve ownership of end-to-end data infrastructure, drive strategic data platform decisions, gain experience with healthcare data compliance (HIPAA), and contribute directly to improving care delivery for patients at home through scalable, reliable data solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytical engineering, or data architecture
- • Strong SQL and Python skills with experience building complex, high-performance queries
- • Deep experience with modern data stack tools including data integration (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte), transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt), and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- • Proven ability to design, build, and scale end-to-end data infrastructure including pipelines, schemas, dimensional models, analytics layers, and ML-ready datasets
- • Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, privacy, and observability best practices
- • Excellent problem solving, communication and analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
