- • MeridianLink, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Data Engineer to become an integral part of our rapidly expanding Analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and architecting our data infrastructure, ensuring the seamless flow and integrity of data across the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines, the vigilant monitoring of these critical systems, and the optimization of data flow and Master Data Management (MDM) strategies to empower cross-functional teams.
- • The ideal candidate is a seasoned data pipeline builder and a meticulous data wrangler, someone who thrives on the challenge of optimizing existing data systems and possesses the vision and capability to construct new ones from the ground up. You will be a key contributor to our data initiatives, providing essential support to database architects, data analysts, and data scientists. Your expertise will ensure the optimal delivery of data throughout all ongoing projects, underpinning critical business decisions and product development.
- • This role demands a self-directed individual who is comfortable and adept at supporting the diverse data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products simultaneously. You will be at the forefront of innovation, tasked with optimizing and potentially re-designing our company’s data pipelines to not only support our current operations but also to lay the foundation for our next generation of products and ambitious data initiatives. Your work will directly impact our ability to leverage data for strategic advantage and drive business growth.
- • Key responsibilities include the design, development, and operation of large-scale data pipelines, meticulously crafted to serve both internal and external consumers with accurate and timely data. You will be expected to identify opportunities for and implement improvements to internal processes, automating repetitive tasks and enhancing efficiency wherever possible. A crucial aspect of this role involves the proactive monitoring of jobs and pipelines, ensuring their smooth operation and swiftly resolving any issues or alerting the team to potential problems before they impact downstream processes.
- • You will be responsible for integrating diverse data sources, transforming raw information into actionable insights that meet complex business requirements. This involves writing code that is not only functional but also robust, maintainable, and exceptionally well-documented, adhering to the highest standards of software engineering best practices. Your contributions will be vital in building and scaling the data infrastructure that fuels MeridianLink's success.
- • Furthermore, you will play a significant role in refining our data warehousing strategies, ensuring that our data is structured, accessible, and optimized for analytical purposes. This includes implementing and adhering to ETL/ELT best practices, understanding various data modeling techniques, and contributing to the overall data governance framework. Your ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions will be paramount.
- • We are looking for someone who can navigate ambiguity with confidence, pivoting effectively based on evolving business priorities without compromising on the quality or integrity of the data solutions. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to minimizing technical debt will be highly valued. Collaboration is key, and you will be expected to work effectively within a team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive and productive work culture. Your strong communication skills will be essential in articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of data at MeridianLink, working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to impactful projects that drive business value. If you are passionate about data, possess a strong technical acumen, and are eager to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.
