• • As a Data Engineer at BJAK, you will play a pivotal role in constructing and maintaining the robust data infrastructure that underpins our advanced analytics capabilities, critical product insights, and essential downstream systems. This is a highly collaborative position where you will work hand-in-hand with our analytics, product, and engineering teams. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our data is not only reliable and accessible but also production-ready and scalable to meet the demands of a rapidly growing global enterprise.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end lifecycle of data pipeline development and management. This includes designing, building, and meticulously maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines. These pipelines will handle both batch and streaming data, processing core business metrics and product-related information. You will be instrumental in ingesting data from a wide array of sources, including but not limited to, various APIs, relational databases, real-time event streams, and diverse third-party services. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring the highest standards of data quality and reliability throughout the ingestion process.
• • Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and managing sophisticated data models and storage layers. This includes architecting and overseeing data warehouses and data lakes that are optimized to support complex analytical queries and a multitude of downstream use cases. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling our business stakeholders to derive meaningful insights from our data.
• • A key part of your role will involve close collaboration with analytics, product, and engineering teams.
