• • We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer II to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in building and evolving our core data infrastructure. You will not merely maintain existing systems but will be a key architect and implementer of scalable data pipelines that are the lifeblood of our entire platform ecosystem. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to leverage data for critical business decisions and operational efficiency.
• • As a proactive builder, your primary focus will be ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and readiness of our data for enterprise-wide analytics. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team, acting as a crucial bridge between raw data sources and actionable insights. Your work will be essential in maintaining the robustness and integrity of our "single source of truth" as the company continues its rapid scaling trajectory.
• • **Pipeline Engineering:** You will be responsible for the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of efficient ETL/ELT processes. This involves extracting data from a diverse range of sources, transforming it to meet specific business and analytical needs, and loading it into our cloud data warehouse. The goal is to create reliable, high-performance data flows that support real-time and batch processing requirements.
• • **Data Trust & Integrity:** A significant aspect of your role will be owning the implementation and enforcement of comprehensive data quality checks. You will proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, including duplicates, missing values, and formatting errors, ensuring that only clean and accurate data reaches our downstream stakeholders and analytical models.
• • **Infrastructure Optimization:** You will play a key role in monitoring the performance of our existing data components. This includes identifying bottlenecks, optimizing queries and processes, and implementing strategies to improve system performance, reduce data latency, and guarantee high system uptime, ensuring our data infrastructure is both efficient and reliable.
• • **Collaborative Building:** This role requires strong collaboration. You will partner closely with Data Analysts, Business Intelligence professionals, and Software Engineers to deeply understand their data requirements. Based on these needs, you will design and build the underlying data structures and pipelines necessary for them to perform deep-dive reporting, advanced analytics, and develop new features.
• • **Technical Documentation:** Maintaining clear, concise, and up-to-date documentation for all data pipelines, processes, and architectural decisions is crucial. This ensures long-term transparency, facilitates knowledge sharing, and simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting efforts across the engineering team.
• • **Automation:** You will actively seek out and implement opportunities to automate manual data processes. By leveraging scripting and workflow tools, you will increase the speed, reliability, and scalability of our data delivery mechanisms, freeing up valuable time for more strategic initiatives.
