📋 Description
- • As a Data Engineer in People Analytics at Notion, you will design, build, and operate scalable data systems that power reliable, secure, and production-ready employee data to support strategic decisions in hiring, performance, compensation, and organizational design.
- • Day to day, you will partner with the Chief People Officer and People leadership to translate strategic questions into metrics and data products; build ETL/ELT pipelines from HRIS and adjacent systems like Workday, ATS, payroll, and performance platforms; design privacy-first data architectures with access controls and PII handling; implement data quality, testing, and observability systems; and create semantic layers and self-serve data products for People Analytics teams.
- • You will join a mission-driven company that builds flexible, AI-powered tools for work, serving millions of users from individuals to enterprises like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, with a culture that values in-person collaboration on Anchor Days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) in San Francisco.
- • In this role, you will achieve impact by enabling trusted, governed people data that supports AI-driven workflows and executive reporting; gain deep expertise in privacy-preserving data systems for HR; and grow your influence as a key technical partner to the CPO and cross-functional leaders in Finance and People teams.
