- • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data from diverse sources into centralized data warehouses and data lakes.
- • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust, reusable data solutions.
- • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using modern data engineering tools and frameworks to ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance.
- • Implement data governance practices including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data quality monitoring to support compliance and trust in analytics outputs.
- • Work with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage data infrastructure, leveraging services such as data lakes, streaming pipelines, and orchestration tools.
- • Automate data workflows and monitoring systems to reduce manual intervention, improve system reliability, and enable proactive issue resolution.
- • Integrate external third-party data sources and APIs into internal data ecosystems to enrich Dun & Bradstreet’s proprietary business intelligence assets.
- • Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and knowledge-sharing sessions to uphold engineering standards and foster team growth.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures, latency issues, and schema inconsistencies across production environments with minimal downtime.
- • Stay current with emerging data engineering trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of the data platform.
- • Support the migration of legacy data systems to modern, cloud-native architectures while ensuring data integrity and continuity of service.
- • Contribute to the design of data models and schemas that align with business use cases and analytical needs across global teams.
- • Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to deliver incremental value through sprints, stand-ups, and iterative feedback loops with cross-functional teams.
- • Ensure all data engineering solutions adhere to security protocols, data privacy regulations, and internal compliance standards.
- • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and data analysts on data pipeline architecture and best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
- • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java
- • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Dataflow)
- • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect
- • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
