• • Own the full lifecycle of Mars United Commerce’s global data-entry portfolio, steering cross-functional squads that ingest, cleanse, and enrich millions of retail, shopper, and supply-chain records every quarter. You will translate high-level commercial goals into granular sprint plans, ensuring every keystroke ladders up to revenue, share, and margin targets.
• • Architect repeatable, auditable workflows in Monday.com, Smartsheet, and Jira that cut manual effort by double-digit percentages while exceeding 99.5 % accuracy. Your playbooks will become the gold standard replicated across Mars Petcare, Mars Wrigley, and emerging segments such as Mars Edge nutrition.
• • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a 25-40-person remote workforce spanning North America, EMEA, and APAC. You will design competency matrices, run weekly retros, and deliver monthly “lunch-and-learn” sessions that turn junior keyers into data-quality artisans.
• • Translate ambiguous business questions into crisp data requirements. When the VP of Revenue Growth asks, “Why did our confectionery velocity dip 4 % in the UK?” you will spin up a 48-hour micro-project that surfaces out-of-stocks, phantom inventory, and competitive promo intensity—then package insights for the C-suite.
• • Institute multi-layer quality gates: double-blind keying, statistical sampling, and AI-powered anomaly detection. You will personally approve QA sign-offs and publish real-time defect dashboards that the CIO references in board meetings.
• • Manage a $1–2 M annual vendor budget covering offshore BPOs, crowdsourcing platforms, and OCR/AI tool providers. Negotiate SLAs, monitor throughput KPIs, and run quarterly business reviews that consistently deliver six-figure cost savings.
• • Mine Jira, time-tracking, and APM data to pinpoint bottlenecks; past wins include 28 % keystroke reduction via smart defaults and 41 % rework drop through real-time validation scripts. Your next target: another 15 % cycle-time cut using RPA or generative-data labeling.
• • Serve as the privacy champion for all data-entry streams. Maintain the RoPA, run quarterly GDPR/CCPA training, and partner with Legal on DPIAs for every new market launch from Mexico to Malaysia.
• • Craft executive-level narratives that translate defect rates, cycle times, and cost-per-record into commercial impact. Your briefs secure incremental budget, influence product strategy, and earn you a recurring seat at quarterly business reviews with Walmart, Carrefour, and Amazon.
• • Curate an internal “Data Ops Guild” attended by 200+ Mars technologists. Present quarterly pilots on synthetic data generation, zero-shot OCR, and other bleeding-edge techniques that keep Mars United two steps ahead of the competition.
