  • • Lead the end-to-end data migration process for Guidewire InsuranceSuite, ensuring the seamless transfer of critical insurance data from legacy systems to Guidewire's PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter platforms.
  • • Serve as a technical team lead, guiding both onshore and offshore development teams, including business analysts, data analysts, legacy system subject matter experts (SMEs), ETL developers, Guidewire configuration and integration developers, and QA testers.
  • • Translate complex business requirements for data migration into actionable technical solutions and drive the achievement of sprint goals within an Agile framework.
  • • Define project scope, meticulously craft user stories, establish clear acceptance criteria, and provide accurate effort estimates for data migration tasks.
  • • Conduct in-depth analysis of intricate data structures within legacy source systems, collaborating with business and data analysts to facilitate accurate mapping to the Guidewire InsuranceSuite data model.
  • • Install, configure, rigorously test, and execute Guidewire's proprietary migration tools, including the Policy Migration Tool (PMT), Claim Migration Tool (CMT), and/or Billing Migration Tool (BMT), to facilitate efficient data loading into the target Guidewire InsuranceSuite environments.
  • • Manage the entire data loading lifecycle, encompassing pre-load data validation, the execution of complex load jobs, and comprehensive post-load verification to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • • Proactively optimize data migration processes for peak performance, making strategic configuration adjustments to enhance speed and efficiency, especially when handling massive data volumes, to consistently meet stringent project Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • • Identify, thoroughly investigate, and effectively resolve data quality issues, migration errors, and performance bottlenecks that may arise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum data accuracy.
  • • Empower and enable offshore teams to successfully deliver agreed-upon business requirements, ensuring strict adherence to Guidewire's established best practices and architectural standards.
  • • Provide essential technical leadership and guidance to the Project Management Office (PMO) as needed, ensuring alignment and smooth project execution.
  • • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to work effectively within small, agile teams, participating in a hands-on technical capacity whenever necessary to achieve critical project milestones and objectives.
  • • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Guidewire's internal data migration processes, methodologies, and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues.
  • • Participate in the development and creation of new, innovative tooling designed to support, streamline, and enhance the efficiency and predictability of project outcomes.
  • • Embrace a self-motivated, proactive problem-solving approach, consistently prioritizing customer success and taking initiative to overcome challenges.
  • • Adapt and perform at a high level within a demanding, fast-paced Agile development environment, demonstrating resilience and a commitment to delivery.
  • • Collaborate closely with customer business and technical teams, spending up to 50% of time on-site to foster strong partnerships and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • • Leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to foster innovation, boost productivity, and drive continuous improvement within the data migration domain.
  • • Contribute to a fun and engaging delivery process, fostering a positive team environment while achieving project goals.
  • • Ensure successful delivery of projects by collaborating with customers, partners, and other Guidewire team members, sharing knowledge and enhancing project methodologies.
  • • Take proactive actions for the benefit of our customers, ensuring their successful journey to the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
