• • As a Data Operations Engineer at Veritone, Inc., you will be at the forefront of empowering our organization with robust data solutions and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to deliver and support critical business operations, with a strong emphasis on democratizing data access and building scalable, efficient analytics platforms.
• • You will serve as a subject matter expert in Data Analytics and Reporting, taking ownership of our Business Intelligence (BI) systems and reporting infrastructure. This includes enabling, ensuring compliance, and actively developing and maintaining our Power BI environment, making it a central hub for actionable insights.
• • Your expertise will extend to ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, where you will be responsible for their enablement, compliance, development, and ongoing maintenance. This encompasses a range of powerful technologies including Alteryx, Python, Boomi/Rivery, Airflow, Openflow, AWS Step Functions, and AWS Lambda, ensuring seamless and efficient data flow across the organization.
• • A significant part of your role will involve the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehousing solutions. You will work with technologies like Snowflake, MySQL, and Postgres to build and optimize data models and structures that form the backbone of our analytical capabilities.
• • You will be instrumental in building, monitoring, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring that data moves efficiently and reliably from source to consumption, supporting real-time and batch processing needs.
• • A key aspect of this position is enabling cross-functional collaboration. You will actively promote a data-driven culture by educating and supporting teams across the organization in effectively utilizing analytics tools and leveraging data for their respective functions.
