📋 Description

• The Data Privacy Specialist role at Hinge (Match Group) is critical to ensuring user trust and regulatory compliance in handling sensitive privacy and security requests, directly supporting the company’s mission to foster genuine connections.
• Day to day, the role involves owning the operational handling of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), data deletion requests, privacy law inquiries, and security-related claims from users, regulators, and internal stakeholders, ensuring responses meet global regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
• The role sits within the newly established Data + Privacy Operations team under Critical Response & Enterprise Risk, collaborating cross-functionally to improve workflows, documentation, and tooling for scalable privacy operations.
• In this role, the person will develop expertise in global privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA), gain hands-on experience with privacy request lifecycle management, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and compliance maturity.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience handling Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) or similar privacy/data protection requests
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail for ensuring regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with global privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection regulations
• Ability to improve workflows, documentation, and tooling for operational scalability
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with users, regulators, and internal stakeholders
