  • • Own the end-to-end marketing analytics domain as a senior product leader, setting the roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, and aligning with marketing leadership and broader ZEAL strategy.
  • • Lead a cross-functional team of analysts, data scientists, analytics engineers, and data engineers, fostering growth, protecting focus, and building internal capability rather than outsourcing.
  • • Drive marketing measurement maturity by owning methodology decisions for MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling), attribution, and incrementality, including designing experiments and evaluating vendor solutions.
  • • Act as the senior measurement authority for marketing performance, ensuring all investment decisions are grounded in defensible, data-driven insights and not just vendor outputs.
  • • Treat marketing analytics as a portfolio of data products with defined owners, users, success metrics, and lifecycles—shifting from reactive reporting to proactive product ownership.
  • • Maintain portfolio discipline across scope, risk, dependencies, and transparency, enabling executives to clearly understand priorities, trade-offs, and progress.
  • • Partner with the Tech Lead spine on standards, architecture, and engineering practices, clearly owning the WHAT and WHY while respecting their ownership of the HOW.
  • • Translate business ambition into structured, actionable plans, proactively managing stakeholder expectations and constructively saying no when capacity or strategic alignment requires it.
  • • Ensure data is central to marketing planning, campaign analytics, performance reviews, and investment decisions, embedding analytics into the core of marketing decision-making.
  • • Build and retain high-performing analytics teams by cultivating talent, setting clear expectations, and creating an environment where analytical rigor and innovation thrive.
  • • Maintain fluency in marketing tech and AdTech stacks, understanding how systems generate the data used for analysis and how to leverage that understanding to improve product outcomes.
  • • Communicate effectively with VP- and C-level executives, aligning senior leaders, pushing back constructively, and creating structure amid ambiguity or pressure.
  • • Apply a product mindset to analytics, focusing on user needs, measurable outcomes, and product lifecycles rather than treating analytics as a queue of ad-hoc requests.
  • • Drive accountability for outcomes, not activity, ensuring every initiative delivers measurable business impact tied to marketing goals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years leading a team in e-commerce, subscription, or comparable consumer business contexts
  • • Hands-on depth in marketing measurement including MMM, attribution, and incrementality—able to challenge methodology, design experiments, and hold vendors accountable
  • • Fluency with marketing tech and AdTech stacks and understanding of how marketing systems generate analytical data
  • • Proven track record of building, growing, and retaining strong analytics teams across analysts, data scientists, and engineers
  • • Genuine product mindset focused on data products with defined users, success metrics, and lifecycles
  • • Strong programme discipline managing portfolios, surfacing risks early, and creating clarity across concurrent initiatives
  • • Executive presence and stakeholder communication skills effective at VP and C-level
  • • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience
