Data Project Manager (12-month FTC)

📋 Description

• • As the Data Project Manager at Carwow Ltd, you will serve as the Expert Navigator for the company’s strategic migration of its entire Data Warehouse from Snowflake to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including the rollout of Looker as the primary BI tool. This role is critical to building a faster, more scalable data foundation that empowers data-driven decision-making across Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams, directly supporting Carwow’s mission to become the car-changing destination of choice.
• • You will drive the end-to-end migration lifecycle, acting as the primary liaison with an external delivery partner while coordinating internal data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate and timely movement of schemas, pipelines, and historical data. You will lead the Looker implementation, overseeing LookML development, managing the transition from legacy reporting, and driving user adoption across UK, German, and Spanish markets. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder expectations, identify and mitigate risks such as data parity issues or API bottlenecks, run agile stand-ups, maintain the project backlog, and ensure documentation and processes are clear for long-term sustainability.
