📋 Description

• Lead data science initiatives for marketing at Moniepoint Inc., Africa’s all-in-one financial platform serving 20 million users and processing over $250 billion in annual digital payment transaction value.
• Build and manage a high-performing data science team focused on marketing analytics, experimentation, and data pipeline ownership to drive strategic decision-making.
• Champion rigorous experimentation including A/B testing and multivariate analysis to optimize marketing channel attribution, customer engagement, and share-of-wallet insights.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure data collection aligns with business goals and develop actionable insights using Python, SQL, ClickHouse, and BigQuery.
• Shape the future roadmap of data capabilities while fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of overall experience in data science or analytics, with at least 2 years in a management or data leadership role.
• Proven expertise in experimentation methodologies including A/B testing, multivariate testing, geo-holdouts, and variance reduction techniques.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using cloud platforms like ClickHouse and BigQuery.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and productionize data science models, including Marketing Mix Models for channel attribution and customer segmentation analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate complex data insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for marketing analytics and experience working with advertising data from platforms such as Facebook.
