- • As a Data Scientist at First Quality Enterprises, Inc., you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements across the company’s manufacturing and product divisions. Your work will directly support the mission to 'Make Things Better®' by enabling smarter, data-informed decisions.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with domain experts and subject matter experts to define business problems, design and deploy machine learning models, conduct large-scale experiments, engineer features, and build visualizations and dashboards that communicate findings to stakeholders. You will also mentor others, lead AI strategy development, and proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement.

First Quality fosters a collaborative, innovative culture focused on continuous learning and professional growth, with corporate offices in New York and Pennsylvania and eight manufacturing facilities.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in applied machine learning, gain experience in manufacturing-specific analytics, develop leadership skills in cross-functional AI initiatives, and contribute to enterprise-wide data strategy — all while advancing your ability to translate complex technical work into business value.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant discipline
- • 5+ years of experience using large scale data to solve problems and answer questions
- • Prior experience in the Manufacturing Industry
- • Experience in building and deploying predictive models and scalable data pipelines
- • Demonstrable experience with common data science toolkits such as Python, PySpark, R, scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy
- • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- • Ability to explain deep technical information to non-technical parties
